SECTION 1 – PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you make a purchase in our store, as part of the buying and selling process we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address, which gives us information about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing (if applicable): with your consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SMS marketing (if applicable): by entering your phone number at checkout, you agree to receive text messages about your order and cart reminders. Promotional text messages are only sent with your explicit consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you get my consent? When you give us personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange a delivery or return a purchase, we consider that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific purpose only. If we ask for your personal information for another reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you directly for your express consent or give you the opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Sale.

SECTION 4 – SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and general Shopify application. Your data is kept on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment: if you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is kept only as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order is complete, your transaction data is deleted. All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers we use only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to provide their services. However, some third-party providers, such as payment gateways, have their own privacy policies for the information we are required to give them for your purchases. We recommend that you read their privacy policies so you understand how they handle your personal information.

Please note that some providers may be located in, or have facilities in, a different jurisdiction from yours or ours. If you choose to proceed with a transaction that involves a third-party service provider, your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where that provider is located.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Sale.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed inappropriately. If you give us your credit card information, it is encrypted using SSL and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and apply additional generally accepted industry standards.

COOKIES

Here is a list of the cookies we use. We have listed them here so you can choose whether or not to accept them.

  • _session_id, unique token, sessional. Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.).
  • _shopify_visit, no data stored, persists for 30 minutes after the last visit. Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
  • _shopify_uniq, no data stored, expires at midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day. Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
  • cart, unique token, persists for 2 weeks. Stores information about the contents of your cart.
  • _secure_session_id, unique token, sessional.
  • storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite. If the store has a password, it is used to check whether the current visitor has access.

Depending on the state where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information or of targeted advertising. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we can continue to sell products to you.
